I bought this game on the Wii and I never liked the forced use of the Wii-motes. Personally it made the game frustrating, the Wii-motes not properly capturing a swing, lifting it up, having it straight and seeing Link dance around trying to hold his sword up straight. The controls on this I find are so much worse. They use the right joy-con as the sword controls, meaning you have next to no control over the camera angles. It boggles the mind how they could think that's a good idea. I've played almost every Zelda game and enjoyed everyone I played except this one. This is the only zelda game that has such contrived and forced game mechanics and it takes me right out of it. They could have used a combo mechanic to make their more technical swinging work. Lock onto and enemy, then use the joycon and an attack button to strike. Would give a similar control scheme and not deny the players the direct control of the camera.
