if you’ve read the book i don’t recommend watching this at all. i thoroughly enjoyed the books, had moments where my jaw was on the floor. the suspense the build up was incredible. the series was so boring and unfulfilling. Andies head injury was found out much later in the book for the readers to be shocked when the killer is revealed, yet the series gave the audience that right away. the characters have no sort of connection everything feels rushed and thrown together. SPOILERS: why did they change so SO much, some of the conversations were word for word but at the complete wrong times? i can understand trying to cram it into 6 episodes must be hard but they added details that weren’t necessary. Howie being at the calimary party but in the books she went to his house which is why he became a suspect because andies car was outside his house. the initials of the ivy house& how the ivy house was ran in the series was shocking it would’ve been more impactful to have it based off the book. the chemistry with the characters was terrible and i had no idea what was going on myself especially when pip managed to find the drugs yet in the book it was all gone. i could go on and on. i was so excited for this series& it was portrayed horribly. no backstory for anyone, nat and andie HATED each other and nat ended up on tag, becca wasn’t as standoffish in the books as in the series thats why finding out she did it was so shocking, because she seemed quiet due to the emotional trauma her and her sister went through from their dad pinning them against each other. don’t think ill ever watch a series based off a book again because i couldn’t even watch it all the way through, i kept thinking that never happened or “what the hell is going on” KEY parts stripped away for some boring “drama” effect. they stripped so much from the book it might aswell not be based off it. STOP MAKING SERIES OR MOVIES OUT OF BOOKS TO RUIN IT!!
