I was quite surprised being as the 6th book of the series (or 7th if counting Assasinโs Blade) how much I enjoyed this book and probably my favorite one so far! No boring chapters imo and much better characters.

I love Chaol & Yreneโs story line - both individually and how they developed through out the book. I really enjoyed their banter and love story much more than Aelin/Rowanโs (or even Dorian/Manonโs).
