I've only watched it now and I'm no movie critique either. I landed on this movie because I am biased towards the actor (Do Kyungsoo) and knowing his drive for varied roles on other projects, I was curious about the "Swing Kids". I watch movies based on what little knowledge i have about it to make me feel more excited of what's to come. It was an eye-opening movie about the hardships of the koreans(both north and south) on the war they had gone through for their freedom. This movie made a big meaning to the art of dance; it brought camaraderie towards enemies, it brought understanding to simple love for the art and it brought courage to fight for ideology. It wasn't all good as it also brought reality to the depth of what power could get from usโ our freedom, innocence, loved ones, and our lives too. Lastly, i was completely appalled about its ending but I also understood it. No more further information as it could lead to spoilers.
