I was intrigued by the show and its cast from the cast. Marathi serials always try to show a badass heroine and brave hero everytime but they have never been able to hit the mark. PVUP was able to do that. Sure, there were arcs and scenes where it morphed into a typical trope or scene popular in serials. But at its heart, the essence of the story has never deviated. It was brought before the audience as a generic romance, but turned into so much more. It is the first serial which I believe was able to do justice to the thriller and mystery elements of its script properly, without softening the portrayal of those themes by any emotional or familial struggle. Of course, I am not satisfied with the end. It was wrapped up quite early and the decision was probably not made by the serial's makers. But I am so glad that this TV show was made.
