Wow very interesting, a lot of issues raised. Each person involved tells their own side of the story enabling you to make up your own mind about what happened and what is right. Personally I see Anna as a predator and a psychopath but no one interviewed aside from Derrick’s own family seems to believe this. I can’t see how Derrick could have consented. An expert in the field discredits the ideas that Derrick was communicating his own thoughts. Would there be a grey area if Anna was a man ? I don’t think so and the way she believes that she was doing this for Derrick’s benefit and that he instigated things I mean this is how paedophiles talk about their victims. She will never believe that she has done anything wrong however.
