I really thought Hollywood had forgotten how to make films like WONKA…wonderful characters, incredible music (reminiscent of Irving Berlin, or Gilbert & Sullivan), a fun and uplifting storyline, and wonderful cast and direction. I am happy to have been proven wrong! This could well be a film people will still be watching 50 years from now, and the moniker “classic” is very well deserved. I’m watching again! 👍👍👍
