Came to this site to see genuine reactions and instead discovered what appears to be an avalanche of bot-generated form letters - maybe a political strategy to oppose a project the Obamas are connected to? Ironic given the subject of the movie, and that a country like ours could devour itself through internal division/mistrust. But on to my review - Some of the imagery in the film (grounding oil tanker, deer herd…) will stick with me forever - deep existential dread. I thought there were many creative shots and uncomfortable situations that exposed a need for my own private self-reflection about assumptions. My only “ding” would be that the score was too heavy-handed in setting tone. I’d watch again during the daylight with lots of pauses and interruptions so that I don’t get so freaked out next time.
