I loved this book. It’s the perfect indie girl soft horror book which turns out to be the exact thing I was looking for and I got sucked in. Feel like I’ve been chasing the high ever since I read this book so I’m now going to read all of Mona’s work. It’s more than just a book with a strong aesthetic. I like how you can interpret it in multiple ways. For those saying it’s anti feminist might have been looking at the story wrong. It reminded me of chic flicks from the early 2000s but with a horror twist that I thoroughly enjoyed. I liked the experimental writting style and I liked the Oh…OH! moments once the pieces came together. Defo not for everyone but a great read for me.
