I started out really liking this show, but it didn’t take me long to dislike almost every character. Jack is a stubborn relic, Lou and Lisa are both incredibly annoying control freaks, Tim is an insufferable know-it-all narcissist, Caleb has very little between his ears, Georgie is a sneaky, lying, spoiled brat who repeatedly does whatever she’s told NOT to do, and Peter self-righteously clings to a job instead of his family. Even worse, the writers just keep recycling the same story lines over and over. The main characters have done very little evolving, making the repetitive story lines even more redundant. I’m in season 9, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to see this series through to the end.
