It was like 28 days later, only it was the American version and you don't actually see it start, they start it in the middle like The Walking Dead, but all else aside, it wasn't aweful, the Zombies were like the Virals in the game Dying Light, or the infected in 28 days later. I liked it, but I'm also not a huge stickler about certain things. They kept it simple, and vague, that's ok. Not every actor is going to be as good as the top notch, award winners. Don't be so picky, happiness is a choice people.
