Not a bad watch but less than its excellent initial premise.
My biggest gripe is this is yet another of the formulaic British dramas featuring a mixed-race couple in their second marriage in a big house with seemingly no explanation as to the generation of their wealth. Do the screenwriters have to adapt every decent story in such ways?
