Indeed the book drew me in and is in one way ingenious. But bit by bit I got bored and struggled to continue. I did continue because yes I was curious how it would end but when it ended I had a feeling I had wasted my time . I also wondered why I would want to read about so much cruelty? I wonder. Next time I will not continue to read.
