I was totally moved when I first watched this series on TV before there were any online services. I bought the DVDs and later found it streaming and bought it that way too. It’s a bit cheesy but in a good way. As fairytales go, it’s a lot of fun. It took me out of real life into another one. I enjoyed watching it and waiting week after week for the next installment on TV back in the day. And now I enjoy watching it for fun even though it is kind of cheesy. It’s still lots of fun. My favorite scene is the singing Pearl Ring. Gotta love it.
