I'm glad I'm not a movie critic because I don't have to feel compelled to pick apart a movie: I can just sit and enjoy it which I did watching Lightning Jack. Paul Hogan made his character likeable even though he did say politically incorrect things about mute people. One has to realize this movie was made prior to the year 2000. But Cuba Gooding Jr also does a good job of playing a mute young man in the old West and he is so good natured he steals the show a bit. One could say that the story line was not engrossing but it certainly was better than a lot of the garbage movies being made today.
