If you can't stomach gut churning nausea...don't see this film. If you can't go through the unbearable shakes I am going through right now...don't see this film..if you cannot feel deep grief and sorrow..don't go see this.. My hands are shaking as I write..and I don't get this visceral reaction easily with any movie. There are no tears.. I can't process the film yet.. the magnitude of their suffering is beyond comprehension. All I can say is this ...I just saw a smidgen of the horrors of partition... And my Mother lived that..it is her reality..I understand her dull horror when she tells me some of the terrible stories of that time in some way.. We should hope to never see this in our lives.. And we should never,ever forget! Jai Hind🙏🙏.. Thank you Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri,Pallavi Joshi and the entire cast..spearheaded by the career best performance of Anupam Kher. You have set your own bar.. However will you top this? As an update...so happy that the film is receiving the response it richly deserves...
