This is not as good as the original True Grit with John Wayne as Rooster and the rest of the original cast. This shouldn't be called True Grit, but a different name as it is a bad remake of a good movie.

This one is a lot better than the 2019 one as it told much more of the story without the mouthy little airman who would have been court marshalled for their reckless behaviour when landing on the deck, the way he talked to their senior officer and even an admiral and all that was in the first half an hour so I decided to watch the original on DVD instead! This one had big stars like Henry Fonda, Charlton Heston, Glen Ford and many others in it and that was what also made well it worth watching!
