Even if you are to ignore the fact that it absolutely butchered the lore created by Tolkien, the show unfortunately is a dull mess that goes nowhere. The actors themselves do a horrible job, with only a few exceptions, and even that is nothing to write about. Honestly, there isn't a single piece of the series that actually does justice to the phenomenal work from which it borrowed some elements of its world.
