Mortal Kombat? Let taco about it... Sorry for the spoilers if I do throw some out there. Did I like it? Yes, I did. Would I compare it to the other movies? definitely not. This is its own universe just like the marvel movies. As we know the original stories from the comic-books of marvel. The MCU it's call the MCU (Marvel cinematic universe) because it is, it's own universe from the Marvel existence. Changing the story to a certain extent. same concept with the MK cinematic universe. remember for the once that have played MK 11 Kronika does exist. (Kronika is a being stronger than the elder gods and she controls time and space re-creating different timelines and universes with in the MK world) with that said... Was the movie perfect? Hell no far from it, but I do love the direction they are going with it. It had a lot of easter eggs with in the movie, which I loved. I can go on for ever about this but if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer as I kinda know which direction they are going to take or at the very least the possibilities they might take. And for the once upset for the characters that did die. Remember that shang tsung is a sorcere keeper of souls. Quan chi (not in the movie yet but there was an easter egg) is an other sorcere? Like character who resurrects the dead... Just throwing it out there...
