I absolutely love the Final Destination series. I've watched the movies, read the books and the comics...so I was super excited to find out they were making a new one. Whole it was a decent watch, I found myself disappointed. There was too much gore to it and it didn't even look realistic. My favorite part of the original 5 is that while they did contain blood and other gore, they were relatively realistic. It's what I enjoyed about them. They were really crazy, extreme circumstance deaths they were plausible. They were edge of your seat Thrillers. I am disappointed that they admitted that they stuck to the original outline but then listened to test audiences when they said "it needs more gore". Horror doesn't have to be filled with gore. I can no longer use this series as a suggestion for a starting point in Horror for others. It really sucks.

I went in with now pervious knowledge of the film (no trailers or interview viewing). I would have probably maybe been okay with this remake. BUT They tried to freshen it up, I get that but when you have Dopey talking, can't hire actual actors for the Dwarves and the best part is actually the little hedgehog that waves at the audience??? You lost me. I'm disappointed. With all the remakes already available, you have a flop.
