This is one of the only films that I will say is a solid 10 / 10. I don't think there is a single thing that I would change. Some people won't agree with me, but I think that's only because they already knew some of the key events of the film. This is a movie where the less you know the better. So if you want to watch it stop reading this review and more and just watch it because the spoilers will ruin it. Some people who have read the book say that it's ironic that this movie is loved by a bunch of cis men since the book was about homosexuality and the men in fight club essentially being gay and in the closet, hence the first rule of fight club is to not talk about fight club. I personally as a teenage girl think that is all bs. This is one of the rare occasions that I think a movie adaptation of a book is actually better. The movie focuses on themes of poverty and overconsuption which in my opinion are a lot more serious that sexuality. I forced my sister to watch it when she was sleepy so I think she is very annoyed but by far top 5 best films I've ever watched and I watch so many films, so go watch this. It won't be a waste of time I promise. I think this is the best performance in brad pitt and Edward Nortons career. Its honestly shocking how this absolute gem of a movie didn't win any awards.
