First off cinematically it was lovely very nice visuals but plot wise there were so many holes I feel as if ti west could’ve gone harder and brought more substance to the film they had so many options to tap into especially as far as the horrors of Hollywood go I would’ve loved to see the extent Maxine was willing to go for fame and how dark the entertainment industry can be I truly feel like there was a missed opportunity there instead I felt as if it was all over the place Mia goth as always delivered a strong performance but I would’ve loved to feel the same eerie emotion that Pearl brought overall the film was lackluster to me it felt like a lot was missing from it
