Forced comedy and a forced plot. It took too long for the story to unfold and the connections to be made. When the connections were finally made clear, it was a bit underwhelming. The girlfriend was forced. It just wasn't that good. Spoiler alert: the suspense at the end [spiderman] was the best part of the movie.
