A refreshing change to the tsunami of programmes made portraying the usual bad language, ubiquitous sex scenes, blood spattered murders accompanied by mediocre designer influenced scripts.
In many ways the "Good Ship Murders" is a throwback to the late 70s early 80s. People can point fingers at the 'B' actors and script writing but are missing the point of the genre.
I think it's a brave thing for the producers to make this programme. Simply honest in it's intention, set in stunning locations and beautifully filmed. The choice to end with a song is pure brilliance which shows off Shane's undoubted singing talent displaying his musical integrity and musical honesty.
'nuff said.
