5 eps in and this is everything I've ever wanting Star Wars to be and achieve. The pacing, the character dev, the story... I haven't felt so connected to Star Wars since the original trilogy. Rather than feeling like the show is catered to a 5 year olds attention span, I'm contemplating character complexity and possible outcomes. And I'd argue if you're looking for quickly established characters, action tropes, or to be bopped over the head with formulaic structure, there are plenty of other Star Wars and Disney+ shows that already do this to an excessive degree. Some of the best shows and series out there take their time to develop characters because the emotional impact of what happens later is that much more profound if you do. Give it a chance, not everything needs to explode in the opening 5 minutes.
