Boring and derivative, does a disservice to all of the films it rips off. The dystopian setting is little more than a backdrop, and Hugh Jackman sounds like he is about to fall asleep, something which I was having trouble avoiding. I had high expectations for this film, hoping that we were entering Ridley Scott or Christopher Nolan territory, but eventually ended up at the “I really don’t care what happens to these people” about half way through the film.
