Haven’t finished it yet so maybe the 5-star is premature, but it’s fantastic. Reminds me of the feelings I got when playing Legend of Dragoon as a kid. Extremely and wonderfully inspired game, many thanks to the French for this one.

It’s no longer 2012, which means a “Viking” movie should probably do more than just offer buff Nordic bros throwing axes. And it’s no longer 1602, which means that if a story is going to rip off Hamlet it should probably not cut out all the interesting bits. Visually compelling, otherwise boring.
