I had hoped this movie would provide a window into the world or news journalism . Instead it was an ultra violent display of distopia, with shallow characters behaving in predictable ways. The script was weak, and the details made it much less believable. Reporters walking into an obviously violent rogue encampment, the young hopeful photographer using a film camera, Kirsten Dunst insists on the use of a safety carbon vest and helmet early in the movie, and in the final charge to the White House the journalists are fully exposed and behaving suicidal. The concept had possibilities to enlighten but the script, direction and storylines failed the mission.
