Tiny spoiler So sad that I would have to say this but this is the worst movie of the Conjuring series. Even 3 was better. The direction in this was so poor and whole movie felt rushed. I was super excited to watch this but sadly fell asleep half way through. Even the so called exorcism didn't wake me up. You'll know once you watch it. It starts of a bit promising but soon goes right down hill. Who ever says this was well written is watching something else. To name one silly directed scene to explain how stupid it was when Lorraine first goes into the house and walks around and then tells Ed there are 3 spirits haunting the house because it was a farmland however what happened about the mirror??? That was when the haunting started in the family however there was no mention of the mirror??? The mirror story was unexplained and pointless. Just watch it and you'll find out.
