Like I would describe the sad feelings I get when I see the unfortunate downhill spiral for a once legendary Madonna, this movie left me sad the same way. I LOVE the original and was obsessed with every character, scene, and story line.. With resurrection I struggled to stay awake after ten min.. it tried too hard, and all in a bad way with bad side line story lines and bad characters played by a just OK cast.. the set designs, the costumes and the effects all felt like they were last min ideas conjured up without a main strategy to fulfill I’m very sad to report a bad review of this movie because I REALLY wanted it to WOW me instead I passed out on the floor of my apt watching it
