a torture for Italians, linguists and Italian linguists even more. I can't believe that a movie production team with such a big budget did not come up to the idea of hiring a language consultant for the movie, at least for a movie which is about tradition and being true to this idea - well, grammar and pronounciation have been totally forgotten. There you have "mundate" (non-existing word) instead of "mutande", "mi" / "perfecto" (which is Spanish, not Italian), "you have a grande bocca" (a saying that doesn't exist if translated literally) and hundred more example like this. I could not watch the movie until the end because of this reason. Learn something from "my big fat Greek wedding", where the actors have been trained to sound Greek even if they weren't! THAT was some good work.
