The Adam Project (2022) GREAT MOVIE!! I watched the movie strictly to see Ryan Reynolds. But Walker Scobell didn’t disappoint. He has Ryan Reynold’s mannerisms at such a young age it’s incredible. Ryan Reynolds didn’t disappoint as usual. But the film itself was everything I was wishing it was. It’s funny, loads of fun, adventurous, emotional, and just a blast. The plot was perfect. The jokes weren’t too much, they were just right. And Ryan Reynolds didn’t steal the show. It was really both of their movie. I had a few issues with the movie. Like I wish that older Adam (Ryan Reynolds) got to let his mom know that it’s him, and he’s doing fine. They shared a brief moment talking at the bar, and I feel like she knew that she was speaking to her son because the scene plays it off like she knows it’s him because she chases after him….and it made me say to myself “that’s fine, she’s gonna find him later, and he’s gonna tell her.” But that was the end of the scene and they just left it there. The movie was really emotional. I never cry for movies, but that last hug that younger Adam ( Walker Scobell) gave his mother, was EVERYTHING to me. I smiled and sheded a few tears. It was emotional and just beautiful. It made me miss my parents. My other issue was some of the CGI on the peoples faces, but those are minor things. Other than that….GREAT MOVIE. I recommend going to watch it if you haven’t already seen it. I’m definitely rewatching. It’s so worth it.
