This movie is indeed thought provoking and dark and also very captivating in some enigmatic way. Most appealing thing I found about this movie is the desolated and barren land which is always covered by the clouds so there's no sunshine. Incessant rains gives almost a claustrophobic vibe to the whole background. Even if this film had been made in colour, most of the time it would have been gray anyway.
Another interesting thing is that how same story is shown in different perspectives. After a scene ends we find ourselves in another one, thinking that we are progressing in the story but after some time we realise that it is the same scene with different perspective and that makes it all the more interesting. Even the ending scene is named as the circle closes.. and it brings us to the same point from where we started. Music is quite remarkable, it binds your consciousness to the whole scene, specially the music in the bar where everyone is dancing.
439 minutes in this movie and not a single moment is boring (except may be end credits part). Marvelous!!
