The film was made in 2015, but the cinematography, direction, plot, dialogues and soundtrack sound like they're from a 1980-90s movie.
There is literally 1 female character in the movie, who is objectified and sexualised from the get go. This film takes women's rights back a few decades, along with Bollywood filmography.
Also worth mentioning with so many veteran actors (Om Puri, Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Jackie Shroff) involved, it's sad to see bad direction. No doubt these are amazing actors, but the cut between scenes is not smooth and, again, very reminiscent of a 1980-90s movie.
