The film was made in 2015, but the cinematography, direction, plot, dialogues and soundtrack sound like they're from a 1980-90s movie. There is literally 1 female character in the movie, who is objectified and sexualised from the get go. This film takes women's rights back a few decades, along with Bollywood filmography. Also worth mentioning with so many veteran actors (Om Puri, Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Jackie Shroff) involved, it's sad to see bad direction. No doubt these are amazing actors, but the cut between scenes is not smooth and, again, very reminiscent of a 1980-90s movie.

It's decent. The comedy is great. The message is great. I love both main actors! They do a great job! Acting is great! My issue was with the undertone of the movie, considering the message they tried to convey. It tried to tackle a very serious topic using 2 comedic leads, which is fine. But then if you're going to make a movie about women's issues, you can't do it whilst objectifying the women in the same breath. You can't be sexist saviours of women - that's just needed up. It would've been a great movie because the comedy scenes were hilarious & the message was great! But all that sexist fluff around it just didn't need to be there. Idk why it was.
