The movie wasn't as good as I expected. The storyline has a lot of missing pieces but it is called An American Saga so with more episodes I do think things will come together like a jigsaw and explain other things. I always think of Lonesome Dove. If it wasn't a saga- mini series it wouldn't of been as good.

I'm sorry but I remember when this movie was released. I was a big fan of the Flash Gordon cartoon series on tv and was utterly disappointed when I first saw this movie. I guess I may have compared it to the first movie I ever saw at the cinema , Star Wars. Am watching flash as I write this review at the age of 50. Still disappointed.

I think this is a fantastic movie. Reminds me of watching old Eddie canter, Bob hope and Jerry Lewis movies. Simply funny. No need to be crude or lude. No need to have a uni degree. Feel good movie all ages can watch. Even my 3 year old son loves it. Good old fashioned fun. Not an academy award best film winner or one that will save the world but just take it for what it is simple fun for the family.
