In a short summary: well written, brilliantly acted, beautifully shot and even had me laughing way more than i expected.
I've never read the books or played the games before but still found it immensely enjoyable. The spectacle of thos show is crazy and i think it uses puppets for some of the monsters and they look great. Couldn't recomend this show more.
