The made for TV miniseries from the 90s was much better. The new stu Redman is weak, the new nick andros is boring. Tom cullens character was butchered. The new flag is too serious, which is not at all the way he's supposed to be. Whoopi goldberg took the cake with her incredibly bland mother Abigail though. Everyone involved in the production of this series should be ashamed of themselves. The whole flashing back and forth was a really, really bad idea.
