As a history lover, this movie was fantastic! A truly dedicated film to showcase the everlasting effects of the war these heroes endured. They truly are the greatest generation, deserving our utmost respect and appreciation. The scene when the previous Nazi soldier showed just how much of a hold Hitler had on the youth and their minds, having them fight at such a young age. I liked how both soldiers, even though on different sides, could make peace with each other in that moment, so long after. It reminded me of the good in humanity. - A Grateful American.
