Ok now first it’s not that bad just here’s the things that were very disappointing. The only good characters were Luke and hon but honestly they didn’t give them good parts either. I mean in all the Star Wars canon and just the stories written by George Lucas him self made Luke skywalker ment to be one of the greatest Jedis the universe has ever seen and he was ment to be a jedi master for the rest of time and bring back the jedi and it says so in all the comics and everything before the sequel trilogy was even made and btw this review is more of a review of the trilogy. Anyway like was ment to be a jedi master. But we got a guy who gave up and lives on a island by himself doing nothing and that’s not what the books, the movies, or the comics said and it was quite the opposite like I just explained. And if this was directed by George Lucas or any Star Wars fans that know A lot about Star Wars there’s no way they would direct Luke to through his dad’s legendary lightsaber down a cliff like that I mean we all know how much he cared about his dad even after he died and how important that would be to him. And do not get me started on the lightsaber duels oml. Let’s all take a look at the duels in the prequels. The duels were epic. I mean we had people jumping like 15 ft in the air and doing flips and yoda flip 20 times in one jump. The choreography was amazing in the prequels. The would do fast blocks and hit and you were able to see the whole duel. They would do crazy moves and swing it like it was nothing! But now let’s look at the sequel duels. Kylo Rens looks cool but his dueling skills don’t make up for it to be honest. I mean Rey and kylo swing the lightsaber ways 60 pounds and the dueling it boring short and there’s so many different angles in the battle you can’t see what’s going on and the cameras are to close to them. It literally looks like they just picked up the lightsaber with no idea what to do with it. There’s no flips either. No spins with the light saber either they are taking there sweet time to swing the lightsaber. And the duels are either 5 seconds of boringness or 2minutes of them either talking to each other about stuff or them fight even more boring. And it looks like the lightsaber got way weaker. I mean the lightsabers are flaming hot blades that can cut through anything like it’s nothing and it shows that pretty easily in the prequels but in the sequel kylo ren gets basically scratched by a direct saber it and it does nothing. Like bruh what. The only good thing about the lightsaber is that it’s more bright and realistic looking like the lights saber has light finally but still the lightsaber duel in clone wars between darth maul and obi wan is more intertaining then the whole sequel trilogy In my opinion. It wasn’t good
