This drama is up there with " The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo " trilogy .
Its appears to be just another Nordic offering of cold weather and the importance of mittens and snow tyres , but the appeal of the characters is unrelenting .
How can such a tiny country have so many brilliant actors and authors ?
