Is there some sort of story in there?

A well worn tale of redemption mixed in with a big hurrah for our military...Not really my k thing...The plot and dialogue are so bad they made me gag. Ed Harris could have been show in a better light - literally- he looked like a mummy. Val Kilmer wouldn't have appeared so pathetic if he had not been dressed like the Godfather. On the upside, the flying and the aircraft carriers stuff were absolutely stunning and make the movie worth watching.

Incredibly boring. The script is terrible. The cinematography: not that impressive. New Zealand is naturally photogenic so what's the big deal?

It sure feels like a Roman Polanski knock off. Not a bad one, though. I liked it.
