I already knew the story of the Iliad going in, so I thought that I would be safe from emotional trauma. I was incorrect. When I was reading this book, I wanted to scream, cry and chuck it off the roof of a 20 storey building and set the book on fire. It turned me into an absolute wreck, and it became everyone around me’s problem too. Highly recommend, amazing experience 11/10. New all-time favourite book.
