This is a fantastic animation, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. It is deep, for youngsters, dealing with friendship, disaster, betrayal... even death. It may be a show you want to reserve for slightly older children, and I would suggest watching the show with them- so you are available to offer an explanation, or a shoulder, or better yet, both! (Honestly, it's not like you have to twist My arm- my husband and I absolutely love the show, too! We BOTH watched it with her!) My eight year old little [girl] absolutely LOVES the show. It has it all! At the forefront, it demonstrates all the ups and downs while making friends... giving examples on learning to love and accept each other, as well as celebrate the fact everyone brings something different, when making friends... Showing that friendships take work and loads of patience and understanding, in order to build and maintain good relationships. Now for the fun stuff...! It also has dinosaurs, science, problems and problem solving, examples of creativity, ideas on how to make and maintain personal challenges... FRIENDS... (did I mention dinosaurs??)... FRIENDS... all wrapped in a fantastic storyline. Plus, the animation is beautifully executed. We all get excited when a new season drops... It's a lot of fun, promotes learning, discussions about difficult issues, and best of all, family time. I highly recommend... Especially if your little is into dinosaurs and science, like ours. One neat observation... Take a look at the cast for the show. I know, right!!? The animation is a replica of each cast member!! Well done! We loved the show so much, I actually I went out of the way to find a way to give it a written rating... Although it would cause a bit of redundancy to make a new season where they never made it (...again) off the island, (so no...) We are hoping for upcoming seasons where this goes further, perhaps when they reach their next destination... But this is such a wonderfully written and illustrated show, we know whatever comes next will be stellar. If only we could give it more stars...! ....waiting patiently for the next season to drop!
