Dean Koontz has long held the title of being my favorite author with reading 50 or more of his works. This one in particular, I was not a fan of. The characters were not very interesting and captivating my attention. The story seemed to jump around between characters without enough build up. His writing style is brilliant as always, but this story lacked substance. A lot of gifts sent from a man who believes in Anarchy and chaos to a famous Hollywood actor. And what else???………………………alot of fluff. I couldn’t continue reading after chapter 32. I gave it nearly half way to get interesting. Sorry Mr. Koontz. This one is a dud.
