Creepy and scary, well acted and convincing dialogue, but really a masterful teen slasher movie and not at all comparable to Midsommar, Hereditory etc.

This film is embarrasingly dreadful. A carnivorous, flying cowboy hat with a taste for ethnic minorities terrorizes a farm in hicksville until it gets downed by an inflatable Mario brother. It would be a comic B movie if it didn't take itself so seriously. Had to beg for a second chance after going on a date to watch this. It has NO redeeming features and don't believe the BS about a new take on Close Encounters.
