This movie is dark, gritty, cinematic, justifiably portrays batman in its 2nd year being batman. The soundtrack was immersive bringing you into the world of Gotham..it accentuated the scenes really well. The introduction of batman was very well made. The actors who played riddler, catwoman, penguin, gordon did an awesome job. The riddler was such an intricate character, gave batman a tough time, similar to the antagonists in the dark knight movies. Batman and gordon playing detective and even though batman is the world's greatest detective as we know it, he's still in his early days as batman. I enjoyed seeing Riddler outsmarting them both. I'd give pattinson a 4/5 for his performance..tbh didn't really see him as bruce wayne at the beginning, gave an emo vibe, being a young adult with long hair. His bruce voice wasn't what I expected. His batman voice was good. The batman costume didn't look so good honestly. But..I made peace with it. It kind of made sense if he's in his early days in that timeline. Perhaps he will figure things out in the next movies and will progress to become bruce from the cartoon. For those, that says he's scared to jump off a building. It was probably his first time doing so..the character development is what's being focused here. And it just shows in the next actions scenes, how much more confident he is with jumping off heights. I think the next movies will show a more developed and mature batman. Otherwise, It really does have everything in what you'd want in a batman movie. I hope they will put Phoenix as the joker in the subsequent movie but doubt it, since they've already shot some scenes with Barry, which shows the scary side of the Joker. Overall excellent movie, i'd put it up there with the Dark Knight/Dark Knight rises movie.

I'm a huge fan of the matrix series, the 1st one being the very best and the most unique of its genre, the 2nd having some of the best action sequence, the 3rd one completed the series but was a bit underwhelming. Spoiler ahead** I've waited for this matrix sequel for such a long time, but it greatly disappointed. Not having nearly the same vibe as the original movie. The first hour of the movie is so long, slow and boring, yet it is probably the best part of the movie, as they try to build the plot of how this new matrix movie will come to life and make sense. They make fun of its own genre inside the movie, which is ridiculous. Not even funny or smart in any way. (Yet** being the best part of the movie, even though the movie is actually terrible) The new characters are very forgettable. The first scene on the roof looked like it had potential to go somewhere, and you're sucked into the thoughts that "oh this might actually be a cool sequence worthy of having "the matrix" in its title. but..Nah They keep replaying flashbacks of the older films, as if replaying them over and over will save this movie in any way. After the full hour, as the audience, you're waiting for that "AHA, this is the matrix" moment, but it never happens. Neo doesn't remember anything, he can't fight anymore and instead uses force push as if he was Yoda. All the cool choreographed action scenes from the matrix series are non existent. They made Neo look so weak. The "bullet time concept" is a joke in this movie. The way they portray bullet time by blurrying the scenes..like there's a fps lag? In a blockbuster movie? Did the technology get worse over time or is this a joke to the audience watching? Trinity is cool and all but cmon, that flight scene was the SUPER underwhelming and cheesy. No offense to the cast, writers, directors. I think someone should have really taken a great deal of time, planning out this movie instead of turning it into a joke. I wish they never made this movie and i'm just gonna pretend it's non canon.
