Read all the horrible reviews of this and almost canceled our plans to go. But pleasantly surprised.
Not as powerful as the first one, but a very good sequel to JOKER. One genius move on the first one and concluded on #2, is that Arthur is not the The Joker, he is a traumatized man savagely abused and cast aside by society. He just happened to be clown by trade. The genius is that he has inspired the real Joker or Jokers to take the throne. I predict the next chapter will be many “JOKERs” competing viciously to claim that title. Also all these critiques about it being a musical. One; Lady Gaga is a main character, so duh. Two; music played a very big part in the first one - so it made total sense for it to be a component of his fantasies.

This is without a doubt my go-to gift for anyone who has lost a dog.
It is beautiful, sophisticated and modern. Dog Heaven is lovely,
but much more substantial and moving. Trust me, you won't buy just one, you'll by 4, 5, 6 books as gifts, then another 4, 5, 6 later.
