Script and overall vibe - lifeless and strange... My young daughter was bored and didn't even enjoy it. Acting - everyone seems dull in acting and void of organic facial expressions. Strangely, Ursula's human form seemed to be the only convincing actor. Everyone seems to be chosen for looks over their actual acting skills. Music - Ariel has a beautiful voice, but most of the other scores either lack from the original or are outright bad. Eric's song made me physically cringe. CGI - Made by amateurs clearly and just jarring to the senses.

Nana was the only decent actor with a decent script. The rest of the actors and script was bland and underwhelming Captain Hook was a standout but not enough to save the movie from everything else

Fantastic, well written and Paul Rudd's character will make your blood boil. Slow on the first episode, but it's worth getting past it and getting engrossed in the story.

Not a terrible story and I don't mind the art style/graphics, but the script and acting is painfully dull.

Beautifully written and fun animation. With Disneys Pinocchio release it's a perfect demonstration of how the same story can fail or succeed depending on the script, acting, art and music.

Apart from Elanor, all the main actors seem to only speak with monotone voices and have lifeless personalities. The story has no rhythm and randomly bounces from one character to another, without real purpose or clear direction. The script is dull. Visuals are overall quite good despite some scenes having blaringly obvious LED walls. As a fantasy TV show it's below average and as an addition to Tolkiens World it's sacrilege.
