It is a complete injustice to the book. Even if their hands were tight, the entire essence of the story is missing in the movie. In the movie, lily seems to be overreacting by the course of events with Ryle. But when u read the book, u can feel her fear…it holds a lot of depth when lily says… even if i was sleeping with atlas and he caught them red handed, he has no right to even raise her let alone assault her. And when her mother says… that once a person gets used to abuse, the only console is it wasnt as bad as last time, or the next time it wont be more painful. The essence of the book is say no to domestic violence.

Every individual has their point of view and whatever reviews are posted up here greatly affects the reader. A nice review creates interest and a bad one makes it impossible for the reader to finish the book. I found the telling error and amazing book, no heavy drama. It was like watching a series, with so many plots and turns, each chapter leaving you at the cliff, but at the same time all the plots are very creatively unveiled. It’s no complex story, it is story of an ordinary woman, and her messed up life. We are all like Nicki, making mistakes, out of desperation or anger, either we stop or get entangled in our web of lies. Go ahead guys. Read it. There is a murder and you as a reader have no sympathy for the victim. Your mind keeps juggling till the end, who killed Damon Blundy ?

Shaitan will make your blood run cold. Not a movie to be watched with kids. The story is nice, but it is quite predictable that r.madhvan needs jhanvi to perform a ritual, it will knock your socks off to find 108 girls for the ritual. The cast consists of only 5 people and everyone has played their part pretty well. Though i feel for r.madhavan’s character someone like ashutosh rana would have been more suitable. He is an incredible actor, yet his chocolate boy smile is inseparable. His eyes, take you back to “sundar sundar woh haseena badi sundar sundar”…. The moral of the story is, don’t take candies from strangers. And make your children do professional courses. The courses are so grilling, that people are compelled to think out of box even under extreme pressure.

It is an amazing movie. No one can beat akshay kumar with his timing and acting. Vidya balan in bhool bhulaiyaa is scary but Tabu’s acting will run a chill down ur spine. A good story. It’s ironical how justice laid behind doors for 18years while the evil livid lavishly. Kartik aryan is entertaining in his own way. Undoubtedly Pandit ji, panditayan ji and chhote pandit have added their quotient of entertainment in the movie. If u r an indian veteran actor fan... watch the movie for Tabu.
