One of the best historical dramas I have seen in a long time. Gripping story, intense action scenes and nuanced performances. It is realistic, raw and portrays the unforgiving nature of the American frontier and complex interplay between various groups; all fighting for survival. In the midst of violence and brutality, you will still find moments of humanity, and it makes you think about the real meaning of resilience. Beautifully done.
